KrakDBench User Manual
Welcome to KrakDBench – the intelligent data analytics platform for
industry‑standardised data transformation, analysis, and reporting.
This manual covers everything you need to get started, from uploading your
first dataset to running advanced machine learning reports.
1. Getting Started
1.1 Signing Up / Logging In
- Navigate to the KrakDBench home page.
- Click Login (if you already have an account) or Sign Up to create
a new one.
- After logging in, you’ll land on the Hub page.
1.2 The Hub
The Hub gives you a quick overview of your recent jobs, usage statistics,
and quick links to upload data or open the dashboard.
2. Uploading Data
- From any page, go to File → Upload Data.
- Drag and drop a file or click to browse.
Supported formats: CSV, Excel (.xlsx/.xls), Parquet, TXT.
- Once the file is processed, you’ll see a preview of the first rows.
- If prompted, select your Industry and Data Standard from the
dropdown. This tailors the platform’s operations to your domain.
- Click Continue – the data is now loaded and ready.
Tip: You can update an existing dataset with File → Update Data.
3. The Dashboard
The Dashboard is your main workspace. It shows:
- Key metrics about your dataset (row count, columns, memory).
- Data preview table with search, sort, and filter.
- Quick‑access cards for Profile Trust Score and AI Insights.
From the dashboard you can navigate to any of the specialised tools
using the top navigation bar.
4. Data Operations
Data Operations (accessible via Data → Data Operations) is where
you transform and standardise your data. You can perform:
- Rename Columns – map your current column names to industry‑standard
PRISMX names. The system suggests mappings automatically; you can
accept them or type your own.
- Cast Data Types – convert text to numbers, dates, etc.
- Map Enums – standardise categorical values (e.g., “Single Family” → “SF”).
- Standardise Dates – convert various date formats to YYYYMMDD.
- Format Numbers – add commas, set decimal places, add prefixes/suffixes.
- Scale Numbers – multiply, divide, or apply other mathematical operations.
- Create TAPE Columns – generate coded versions of key columns for
downstream systems.
Each operation can be previewed before applying, and you can queue
multiple operations and apply them all at once.
5. Advanced Data Operations
Data → Advanced Data Operations provides bulk utilities:
- Column Analyzer – view detailed statistics for every column.
- Data Quality – run a comprehensive quality check (missing values,
duplicates, business rule violations).
- Stratify All Fields – segment your data by one or more columns and
compute summary metrics.
6. Advanced Reports
The Advanced Reports menu gives you access to AI‑powered analytics:
- Churn Risk Dashboard – identify customers or records likely to churn.
- Anomaly Detection – automatically flag unusual patterns.
- Journey Analytics – analyse user or process journeys.
- Scenario Simulator – run what‑if analyses on your data.
- ML Predictor – train and use machine learning models (classification,
regression).
- ML Insights – let the AI explain which factors most influence a target.
- Time Series Forecast – forecast future values based on historical data.
- Data Profiler – a one‑click comprehensive profile of your dataset.
Each report walks you through a simple configuration and then presents
interactive charts and tables.
7. File Management
- Save Job – Save your current session (dataset + operations) so you can
resume later.
- Load Job – Recover a previously saved session.
- Clear Data – Remove the current dataset from the session.
- Export Data – Download your transformed data as CSV, Excel, or other
formats.
8. Account Settings
Click your name in the top‑right corner to access:
- Workspace / Hub – return to the main pages.
- Account Settings – update your company name, industry, email, or
password.
- Usage Dashboard – track your monthly usage (ML trainings, rows
processed, storage, API calls).
- My Wallet – view and top up your credit balance (Pay‑As‑You‑Go plan).
- Upgrade Plan – change your subscription tier.
- Admin Panel (admins only) – manage users, view financials, and
monitor platform activity.
9. AI Chat Assistant
In the bottom‑right corner you’ll see a robot icon. Click it to open the
AI Data Agent chat. You can ask questions like:
- “Show me the first 10 rows.”
- “What is the average loan amount by property type?”
- “Create a bar chart of sales by region.”
The AI can query your uploaded data and return tables, charts, and
explanations.
10. Blockchain Audit Trail
Every important action (upload, transformation, casting, etc.) is
recorded in an immutable ledger. You can view the audit trail at
Blockchain in the top menu.
11. Tips for Best Results
